| Kenneth
S. GoodSmith is a 1978 magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown
University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his
law degree, cum laude, from Northwestern University School
of Law in 1981. Ken was a Notes and Comments Editor on the Northwestern
University Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Upon
his graduation from Northwestern, he clerked for |

the late Robert Sprecher of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh
Circuit. Ken has broad experience in commercial litigation and counseling,
with particular emphasis on franchise and antitrust law. In recent years,
he has handled several cases involving disputes between partners in businesses.
Ken also headed the employment law group at the Chicago office of Latham
& Watkins and continues to provide representation in that area.
